Pickleball is a racket sport invented in 1965 in the USA and now one of the fastest-growing sports in the world. It mixes tennis, badminton and table tennis: you play with a solid paddle and a light perforated plastic ball on a small court — usually in doubles. Rallies are short and social, and beginners have fun from the very first game.

Solid paddle, light plastic ball with holes — easy on the arm.
Serve diagonally and below the waist; the ball must bounce once on each side first.
No volleys in the 2.13 m zone next to the net — that makes the game tactical.
Games to 11 points, win by 2. Only the serving team scores.
Low impact on joints, lots of movement and laughter — for all ages.
